Blow. Newspaper 10 year anniversary edition.

Hi guys,

Great night last night, full house! Great efforts, well done.

Tonight in True Boxing class (at 6pm) we will cover executing the perfect hook punch, peeling the jab and using elbow guard to cut step. Plus, a new shadow box drill and partner drills for head movement. Don’t miss it.

While you’re in, grab one of the newspapers at reception. It’s not just any paper, it’s a celebration of March turning 10. Ha, March’s business Blow. turning 10. March coaches BJJ 6pm on Thursdays. In case you don’t know, he’s responsible for all of our t-shirts, logos and most of our posters (the really good ones). The newspaper that Blow. has produced doubles as a portfolio of some truly amazing work both March and his business partner have done over the years, mixed with some quite interesting articles.

So pick one up, have a geezer, even order some of the merch.

It’s not over,

See you on the mat.

Tired of blocking punches with your face?

Make sure you get in today at 12:15 or 6pm tonight. Theme for this week is detailing the round kick and working on your defense.

Hi guys!

Don’t miss today’s True Boxing lunch class at 12:15 with Sifu, he’s got some great strategic drills planned!

Then there’s Vadim’s Wing Chun Kung Fu class at 6:30pm tonight which is all about set-ups for your side kicks, spin side kicks and round kicks. All essential for your martial arts fight game.

Saturday’s Fitness and Conditioning class at 9am with Frances will be another heartstarter for the weekend.

The 10am Wing Chun Kung Fu class will be Sifu setting up this coming weeks theme so don’t miss it!

Don’t miss any of these classes if you can.

Finally the Kids Kung Fu classes will start next week, first one is on Monday at 4:15pm. Remember if your child(ren) was enrolled in term 1 we will attribute a 30% discount to this terms fees. Last term was “pay per class” so if you have any fees owing from last term please fix them up on your next visit with either myself (Amy) or Sifu Rick.

On a side note, we have had some enquiries about whether we are training at our Redfen location or Alexandria Park. We are most definitely conducting all of our martial arts and conditioning classes at our training hall at our Redfern address.

See you on the mat.

Lunch class BJJ at 12:15 with Andrew is continuing the theme of fundamentals revision.

Tonight BJJ at 6pm is the final stages of blue and purple belt grading practice loops. Introduction to 2nd loop for your belt level. Finishing with flow rolling. No partner changes etc.

Hey guys,

Thanks for an awe inspiring True Boxing class last night, one of my all time favourites. Excited to be back on a Wednesday night tonight, I have a cool and old school class planned so try to be there.

Lunch class with Zac will be continuing on this week’s theme of real-world applications of trapping hands and the perfect side kick, plus his own flavours added to the mix.

It’s uncertain times but the show must go on.

Stay focused out there, be tolerant of others, take no risks and above all, stay safe.

See you on the mat.
